An Síol provides a free confidential Welfare Rights Information Service. We provide information and assistance with issues such as:
• Jobseeker’s Payments
• Social Welfare Payments
• Back to Work options
• Taxation and Welfare to Work
• Education and Training Options
• Secondary Benefits – including Rent Supplement, Medical Card, etc.
• General Welfare Issues
• Support, advocacy and referrals for clients who are having difficulties in areas such as social welfare, housing, family violence, social assistance, employment, debt management etc. is also provided.
In addition we also provide information, support and representation to people making Social Welfare Appeals. Our service is totally free, confidential and impartial.
